Need some inspiration for your reading list this year?   Want to win prizes just for doing what you love? 

Join the Cardington-Lincoln Public Library's 2021 Reading Challenge! 
 

  • Themes will be announced at the beginning of each month on our Facebook page and posted in the library. 

  • Each month, read at least one book that falls under one of the suggested categories for the month. 

  • The challenge is open to all- adults, teens, and children.

  • Once you've complete each month's challenge, submit your information to our online form so we can keep track of your progress.

  • Participants who complete 10 of the 12 month's challenges will receive a gift at the end of the year and be entered to win the grand prize!

Monthly Categories

January – Self Help, A 2020 Best Seller, Book with a Number in the Title 

February – Romance, A book on Friendship, Time Travel 

March – Title with 3 words, A book with a green cover, poetry  

April – Local Author, Audiobook, Librarian Recommendation  

May – Memoir, an author who uses initials, Book turned into a television show   

June – Coming of Age Story, Childhood Favorite, book you own but haven’t read  

July – Summer read, an author you love, book turned into a movie 

August – A sequel, A classic, Historical Non-Fiction  

September – Published in the 1800’s, Re-Read a favorite book, Graphic novel or picture book  

October – Western, Fantasy, Mystery  

November – Book longer than 400 pages, Holiday book, Book about a pressing Social issue 

December – 2021 release, Eye-Catching Cover, Biography
