Digital Literacy Trainer

We are looking for a friendly tech-savvy Digital Literacy Trainer to fill a one-year full-time contract position to perform computer instruction, technology-focused community outreach, hands-on help, and other technology-related duties. The successful candidate will show interest in helping others alleviate barriers to computer and internet adoption. The Digital Literacy Trainer plans, schedules, markets and conducts computer training in an online and classroom setting, works with inexperienced learners to provide one-on-one assistance, and assists patrons using library computers. This $12 per hour position also partners with organizations in the community for program outreach, including online job search training and after school technology programming. A high school diploma is required. A college degree is preferred. Qualified candidates must be dependable, service-oriented, have reliable transportation, and be able to work daytime, evening and Saturday hours. This is a year-to-year grant-funded position.
