Hiram Pratt Howard was born on July 2,1841. He married Christina M. Hack in Morrow County on March 25, 1866. Four children were born of this union. Hiram lived and farmed in the Westfield Township area of Morrow County most of his life. He applied for an invalid’s pension on April 3, 1890. His wife Christina applied for a widow’s pension on May 27, 1909.
