Thomas Rigby was born in New York in 1846. In 1850 he was living with his family in Richland County, Ohio, and by 1860 Chester Township, Morrow County, Ohio. He eventually moved to Missouri. His wife’s name was Annie; he was a carpenter by trade. In 1916 he was living at the National Home for Disabled veterans at Leavenworth, Kansas.
