David Leroy Blue was born in Ohio on 4/6/1846. After the War David moved to Iowa. He married Caroline E Newton on 10/30/1870, four children were born of this union. David was a farmer and also worked as a Yardmaster and Conductor for the Rail Road. He collected an invalid’s pension on 9/18/1890. Caroline collected a widow’s pension on 1/5/1926.
