Other interesting information discovered:

William Brown was 40 years old when he enlisted.  This would have been considered “old” for a soldier to enlist.

Regiment lost during service 4 Officers and 80 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 2 Officers and 256 Enlisted men by disease. Total 342.
