Other interesting information discovered:

Robert Demuth is shown living near Cardington in 1860.  He died at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Missouri.  His body was brought back to Cardington for burial. Robert’s brother, John also died of pneumonia about two years later at Louisville, Kentucky.
