Other interesting information discovered:

Cyrus Devore was from the town of Waldo, Marion County, Ohio.  Prior to the war he had attended college at Ohio Wesleyan and Oberlin.  His mother, Edith Phillips, collected applied for his pension on Nov. 8, 1883.  While it was stated that he was buried at Little Rock National Cemetery, Little Rock, Arkansas, his body might also have been brought home to Waldo for burial.
