John Fields (John Felds) was born in Germany on 4/16/1840. He married Catherine Long in Morrow County, Ohio on 3/31/1867, two children were born of this union.  He collected an invalid’s pension on 6/25/1890. John lived and farmed in the Cardington, Ohio area until his death in 1903.
