Other interesting information discovered:

John Fisher married Diana Brockway on September 26, 1861 in Cardington, Morrow County, Ohio.  This was just 16 days after his enlistment.

Regiment lost during service 1 Officer and 58 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 6 Officers and 229 Enlisted men by disease. Total 294.

Place of burial:  West Lawn Cemetery, Canton, Ohio
