Other interesting information discovered: 

Melville Maxwell was born in 1840. The 1860 Census shows he was living in the Marion County, Ohio area.  Melville married Hettie Oliver on 5/7/1863 in Morrow County, Ohio, two children were born of this union.  Sometime after the war Melville and his family moved to Jackson, Linn County, Missouri where he was a farmer.  The 1890 Census shows that Melville moved to Cardington, Ohio. He collected an invalid’s pension on 2/16/1888. His wife, Hettie collected his pension on 5/27/1899 after his death in 1897.
