Other interesting information discovered:  Melville W Nichols was born in the year 1849 in Morrow County, Ohio to the union of Nathan and Orphan (nee: Buffington) Nichols. He lived in the Gilead and Lincoln  Township areas of Morrow County before the War.  He died of tuberculous while serving in the War on 2/19/1865 in Nashville, Tennessee.
