James K Pearl was born in Sparta, Ohio on 8/17/1840.  James first married Lydia a Breece in Morrow County on 12/31/1865, six children were born of this union. Lydia died in 1884. James married Mary Ellen Partlow in Morrow County on 10/18/1889.  James lived in Morrow County, Ohio all of his life. He was a carpenter.  James received an ‘ pension on 2/9/1880, his wife, Mary received a widow’s pension on 3/24/1928.
