Other interesting information discovered:

Ebenezer Powers was born in Cardington, Ohio on May 2, 1847.  He is listed as Edward M Powers and as Ebenezer M Powers in several records. He married Nancy Benedict Doty on May 27,1875 and had five children.  He was a farmer while living in the Bennington Township area of Morrow County. Later he moved to the Summit County, Ohio area where he was employed as a night watchman.   He received an invalid pension on March 15,1882.  Powers died in Davenport, Florida.  His body was brought back to Akron, Ohio for burial.
