Other interesting information discovered:

Peleg Purvis lived in the Cardington area for his entire life.  He married in 1867;  his wife’s name was Hannah.  At one time he was a brickmaker, later on he was a dairy farmer.  In 1879 he applied for an invalid’s pension.
