Other interesting information discovered:

James Stanley was born in Marion County, Ohio.  In 1891 he is carried on the roster of a GAR post in Tescot Kansas.  Around 1894 he moved to Bakersfield, California, where he died in 1925.  He was living with a daughter there.  His wife’s name was Helen Tucker.
