William G Beatty was born in Erie County, Ohio on 9/5/1837. William followed his older brother, John to Cardington , Ohio in 1854. The brothers entered into the banking profession and through time became the proprietors of their own banking house, the Beatty Brothers Banking. The bank was located at 120 East Main Street, Cardington, Ohio. William married Viola Rees in 1870, five children were born of this union. Viola collected a widow’s pension on 3/20/1899. Beatty died at Pueblo County, Colorado.
