Other interesting information discovered:

Martin Adams and his father, Joseph both served in the same cavalry regiment.  Born at Cardington, Martin died in Northfield, Michigan in 1939.  He was 95 years old.  His residence was listed as Caledonia, Ohio.  He apparently was living with children at the time.
