What is a library of things, you ask?
The CLPL library of things is where we keep non-traditional library items that can be checked out. WiFi hot spots and bicycles, keep checking back as we add more items!
WiFi Hot Spots and Smartbooks
1. You must be at least 18 years old to check out a WiFi hotspot kit or Smartbook. You cannot have more than $10 in fines on your account. New account holders can check out hotspot kits and Smartbooks.
2. Hotspot kits and Smartbooks circulate for a seven-day loan period. They are renewable one time provided there are no holds on the item. Renewals are automatic.
3. Hotspot kits and Smartbooks must be returned at the Circulation Desk inside the library. They cannot be returned at the outside return box or at another COOL library.
4. Hotspot kits and Smartbooks are considered overdue at the end of loan period, there is no grace period. They are considered lost after thirty days. The account holder is responsible for any lost or damaged items, full replacements costs are $130.

Pedal Morrow County is a joint venture of the Morrow County Mobility Management project and the Cardington-Lincoln Public Library with contributions from community members/organizations: Jeff Young, Mid-Ohio Insurance, Paul Turner, Cardington First United Methodist Church, Tim Maceyko, The Seth Maceyko Snuggle Time Foundation, and Cardington Police Department and Officer Jason Kiefer. Initially a pilot bicycle lending program through the library, expansion of Pedal Morrow County is expected throughout the County. Community member Teresa Fox submitted the winning name for the program during a contest held in 2019.
