Other interesting information discovered:  Paul H Long was born in France on 11/6/1842.  He lived in New York as a child. His first marriage was to Sarah Miranda Potter; Sarah died in 1876. Paul then married Mary A Base on 8/3/1883 in Whitehall, Michigan. It is unknown if Paul had any children.  In 1870 Paul was an engineer at a well in Pennsylvania. He later moved to Fruitland, Michigan where he was a farmer
