Support the Library

"Free libraries maintained by the people are cradles of democracy, and their spread can never fail to extend and strengthen the democratic idea, the equality of the citizen and the royalty of man. They are emphatically fruits of the true American ideal."

-Andrew Carnegie at the 1903 dedication of the Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C.

Financial Contributions

The Cardington-Lincoln Public Library accepts financial contributions of any amount by mail and at the circulation desk in the library. We appreciate community support in this challenging economic environment and strive to be good stewards of the financial assistance we receive.

Volunteer Opportunities

The volunteer program at the Cardington-Lincoln Public Library is in its infancy. At this time the Library is experimenting with a Saturday Volunteer position. The primary role of the Saturday Volunteer is to provide back up support to library staff scheduled to work on Saturdays. This position is an indispensable component needed to enable the Library to offer service hours to the community on Saturdays.

As the volunteer program progresses additional volunteer opportunities will be offered in the Library. If you have an interest in becoming a Saturday Volunteer, please complete the attached application and return it to the library.
