This program is for any children who feel uncomfortable reading out loud. Every Monday in June of the Summer Reading Program, the library will have trained and certified therapy dogs that children can read to. 

Children will sign up at the front desk for 10 minute shifts to read to our dogs. Please arrive a few minutes before your shift to choose a book to read to the dog.

Come to the library to hear from Doug Brown, motivational speaker and professional skateboarder! With messages of hope and optimism to achieve your dreams, Doug will discuss a range of topics from literacy and bullying to staying drug free and much more. Hang around a little after the program to see him do some tricks in the parking lot or skate park.
