Partial Solar EclipseCome to the library August 21 to safely see the partial Solar Eclipse! Eclipse glasses will be provided and the eclipse is expected to peak in Ohio at 2:30. We will have a few eclipse glasses in our green space behind the library. Come up to the library staff member to borrow a pair of glasses and then return them when you are done looking at the eclipse.

Given to the Sea CoverThe Cardington-Lincoln Public Library is proud to host local author Mindy McGinnis to sign her upcoming novel, Given to the Sea. Mindy will be signing books Saturday, April 15 from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm. Mindy is a YA author who has worked in a high school library for thirteen years. Her most recent novel, The Female of the Species, has received critical and popular acclaim in the YA fiction world.

Tail Waggin' Tutors

Tail Waggin' TutorsThis program is for children who feel uncomfortable reading out loud. Every Monday in June, the library will have trained and certified therapy dogs that children can read to. 

Children will sign up at the front desk for 10 minute shifts to read to our dogs. Please arrive a few minutes before your shift to pick out a book to read to the dog.
