James older brother, William Harrison Wood served in the 3rd OVI Company I during the War. James lived and farmed in the Cardington, Ohio area most of his life. James collected an invalid’s pension on 11/13/1885, his wife, Elizabeth collected a widow’s pension on 9/9/1919.
