Topics discussed in the workshop include the following areas:

Realistic Couponing-See exactly how coupons work, how you can use them to save at least 50% on your groceries, understand your stores' policies, and keep all those awesome coupons organized!

Strategic Grocery Shopping-Learn how to avoid common marketing traps at the grocery store, and shop smarter!

Prerequisite:  Students have completed "Introduction to Mouse and Keyboard" OR are able to use a computer mouse and keyboard without help.  We will use Windows 7 WordPad.  Skills learned can be adapted to other programs. 

Topics covered are:

This class is for beginning computer users.  Students will learn how to use the computer mouse and keyboard commands to operate a computer.  We will cover the basic layout of the Windows 7 desktop and use WordPad to learn about the different keys and mouse functions.  It is not necessary for students to know how to type. 

Prerequisite:  Students have completed "Introduction to Mouse and Keyboard" OR are able to use a computer mouse and keyboard without help.  We will use Google's Gmail as our example.  Skills learned can be adapted to other email programs.

Topics covered are:  What is email?, the email address, inbox, virus protection, subject line, forward, reply and reply all, composing a message, using CC and Bcc, opening an attachment, and adding an attachment.

The Library will host a Bake and Book sale where delicious baked goods, as well as pre-loved books, audio-books, movies and magazines will be available for purchase.  Proceeds will benefit the 2013 Summer Reading Program.  For more information, please contact the Library at 419.864.8181.
